In September of 2021, the American Nurses’ Association called on policy solutions to address the needs of the nursing shortages and crisis. According to the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, nurses who provide legal nurse services as a part of their consulting services play an invaluable role in legal cases. In fact, in recent years, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced two medical device settlements for defective products for years totaling over $65 Million.
